By booking or participating in any Mama Care Collective services—including 1:1 sessions, classes, courses, or support groups—you acknowledge and agree to the following:
Scope of Services
Mama Care Collective provides education, guidance, and emotional support related to pregnancy, postpartum recovery, newborn care, and breastfeeding. All information shared is evidence-based and rooted in professional nursing experience.
However, these services are intended for informational and educational purposes only and are not a substitute for medical care, diagnosis, or treatment.
Not Medical Advice
Participation in any Mama Care Collective service does not establish a patient-provider relationship with Gabrielle or Mama Care Collective.
You understand that:
I do not diagnose medical conditions
I do not prescribe medications or treatments
I do not replace your physician, midwife, pediatrician, or other licensed healthcare provider
You agree to consult your healthcare provider for all medical concerns, urgent symptoms, or individualized medical decisions regarding you or your baby.
Individual Responsibility
By participating, you acknowledge that:
You are responsible for your own health decisions and those of your child
You will seek appropriate medical care when needed
You will use your own judgment when applying any information discussed
Emergency Situations
Mama Care Collective services are not intended for emergencies.
If you or your baby are experiencing a medical emergency, you agree to:
Call 911
Contact your healthcare provider immediately
Seek care at the nearest emergency facility
Licensure & Professional Boundaries
Services are provided by a Registered Nurse (RN, BSN) and Certified Breastfeeding Counselor (CBC). All education and support are provided within the scope of nursing education and non-clinical consultation.
Services are not intended to replace in-person assessments, clinical evaluations, or medical interventions.
No Guarantees
While guidance is evidence-based and personalized, Mama Care Collective does not guarantee specific outcomes related to:
Breastfeeding success
Infant sleep
Postpartum recovery
Any maternal or newborn outcomes
Each mother and baby experience is unique.
Participation & Respect
For support groups and classes:
Participation is voluntary
Respectful, supportive communication is expected
Mama Care Collective reserves the right to remove participants who are disruptive or disrespectful
Confidentiality
All personal information shared during sessions or groups will be treated with care and respect. However, in group settings, confidentiality cannot be guaranteed and participants are encouraged to share thoughtfully.
Payments & Scheduling:
All sessions and classes must be paid in full at the time of booking
No-shows or late cancellations may result in forfeited session
Agreement:
By booking and participating in Mama Care Collective services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.
